Chiller Replacement at Beaumont Hospital Dublin

Beaumont Hospital is a public voluntary hospital located in Beaumont, Dublin, Ireland. It is the second largest hospital in the Republic of Ireland. It is managed by a Hospital Board and provides acute care hospital services, including a 24-hour department, for the population of North Dublin city and North County Dublin, Dublin. It also provides several regional and national specialist services.

This project consisted of Construction works, Mechanical & Electrical Installations and PSCS appointment relating to the installation of new Chiller Plant to replace the existing CHW plant and new distribution pumps and pipe work. The work was carried out under the form of Conditions set out in the Public Works Contract for Minor Building and Civil Engineering Works Designed by the Employer.

The site of the works was located within grounds of the Acute Hospital which were particularly busy with patients, employees and visitors to the Hospital. The surrounding and adjacent hospital departments continued to function as normal whilst the works were in progress.
