Carrickphierish Campus Development

This project consisted of the construction of two sixteen-classroom primary schools each with a special needs unit, a public library, shared general purpose hall and community facilities, on a 5 acre site. The campus included 6,000 sqm of buildings as well as parking.

  • School A – Gaelscoil na Deise – New build on the existing campus. The building consists of teaching space, changing facilities and a gym area.
  • School B – Waterford Educate Together N.S. – New build on the existing campus. The building consists of teaching space, changing facilities and a gym area.
  • Library and Community Spaces – New build on the existing campus. The building consists of a main Library area with adjoining read/relax areas, childrens area, support rooms, Offices, WC’s and stores.

The mechanical works included; Fire stopping of services, Installation of shared heating plant with Gaelscoil na Deise, Above ground soils & wastes installation, Domestic water services, Gas services, Space heating installation, Protective services, Electrical wiring associated with mechanical services and controls installation.
