Office Fit-out at the Dockgate Building KPMG Galway

The project entails the partial fit-out of a section of the Second Floor of the Dockgate Building in Dock Road, KPMG Galway

The mechanical services contract includes for the strip-out of the existing Daikin VRV air conditioning system. This will involve degassing and allowing for the safe disposal of same. The internal and external units and any controls are to be stripped out in a careful manner and presented to the Landlord for their possible re-use. The system in the remainder of the 2nd floor is to be left intact and operational.

The intent is to reuse where possible any of the existing services and to that end the contractor will note that significant elements of existing ductwork are to be reused as identified on the tender drawings and where possible existing swirl diffusers are to be used although the contractors shall provide a price to provide for new as detailed in the equipment schedules
