Kieran Staunton
MANAGING DIRECTOR
Kieran is co-founder of KD Group. He has been in the industry for over 20 years and has been imperative in building KD Group from a small family run business to a company that has grown in knowledge, skills and size. Kieran is responsible for liaison with clients and design teams with a particular focus on the Commercial side of the business. He is committed to business development and company growth.
David Staunton
MANAGING DIRECTOR
David is co-founder of KD Group. He has over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry with over 15 years in a management role. David is a qualified plumber and has experience in all areas of the public and private sectors. He is responsible for onsite activities and using his practical knowledge to build the business in to a successful quality provider.
Peter Staunton
CONTRACTS DIRECTOR
Peter has over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry. He has experience in a wide range of projects including the Commercial, Education, Healthcare, Hotel & Leisure, Pharmaceutical, Public and Residential sectors. Peter is working as a Contracts Director with KD Group having previously held the positions of Project Manager and QA/QC Manager. He is responsible for overseeing overall contracting operations and management.
Anthony Kearney
COMMERCIAL DIRECTOR
Anthony has vast experience in, and is responsible for, overseeing the Estimating and Procurement Department. He graduated from LIT with a National Certificate in Construction Studies and continued with his studies obtaining a Bachelor of Science in Building Management and a Professional Diploma in Construction Engineering and Management. Anthony has over 20 years’ experience in the Construction Industry.
Pamela Keane
FINANCIAL DIRECTOR
Pamela has over 14 years’ experience in the financial sector working in both private and industrial practice. After graduating with a National Certificate in Business Studies, she completed a National Diploma in Accountancy & Financial Management and a Bachelor of Business Studies in Accountancy. She is a member of the Fellowship of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) and is partially qualified as an International Tax Consultant (IATI).
Gordon Biesty
CONTRACTS MANAGER (West & South Region)
Gordon is responsible for the overall project planning, coordination, management and successful delivery of all projects he is involved in. He graduated with a National Certificate in Construction from GMIT and a National Diploma in Construction in Construction Economics from IT Sligo. Gordon has over 16 years’ experience in the construction industry.
David Fahy
BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
David has over 15 years’ experience in all aspects of mechanical engineering and is responsible for the overall Business Development function within KD Group. He graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from GMIT. He has successfully delivered on a range of projects in the Ireland and the UK. David has worked in various sectors including Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Oil & Gas, Data Centres, Life Science and Commercial.
Cathal McDermott
CONTRACTS MANAGER (East Region)
Cathal graduated from Heriot Watt University & Dublin Institute of Technology with a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Architectural Engineering & Building Services Engineering respectively. He has worked within the construction industry in Canada, Scotland, England & Ireland gaining vast project experience in the healthcare sector in Ireland. He has successfully overseen the delivery of a number of HSE projects within the Dublin region. A previous project in which Cathal was involved with for KD Group was St James Hospital 2 & 4 refurbishment works, which received a highly commended commercial contactor of the year award at the Irish heating and plumbing awards 2017.
Paul O’Donnell
CONTRACTS MANAGER (Northwest Region)
Paul has over 15 years’ experience in all aspects of mechanical engineering. He has overall responsibility for the delivery of the project on time, within budget and in a safe and responsible manner. He has successfully delivered on a range of projects in the UK, Ireland, Belgium, Israel and Australia. Paul has worked in various sectors including Pharmaceutical, Healthcare, Oil & Gas, Data Centres, Life Science, Semiconductor and Commercial.
Caroline Mullins
HEALTH & SAFETY MANAGER
Caroline is responsible for the health, safety and environmental onsite, maintaining the ISO accreditation’s and QEHS Management System. She graduated from Sligo IT with a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Safety & Health. She has over 12 years’ experience in the Health & Safety sector in Construction having previously worked in Ireland, the UK and Australia. Our consecutive prestigious wins at the NISO awards is evidence of our high standard of health and safety.
Jerry Egan
PROJECTS SURVEYOR
Jerry has over 16 years’ experience in the Construction industry gaining experience in the Irish and UK Construction Industries. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying and a Master of Science in Quantity Surveying. His responsibilities include preparing contracts, on-going cost analysis of maintenance and repair work, feasibility studies, analysing completed work, allocating upcoming work, site visits, assessments and projections.
