About the project

This work involves the rebuild and extension of the Radiology Department and the replacement of the Mechanical Infrastructure in underground ducts at Letterkenny University Hospital. The works are to be carried out on a live acute hospital on a phased basis to ensure no disruption to hospital services. The Radiology Department involves the demolition and adjustment of the existing sub-standard and flood damaged accommodation and the construction of new buildings and re-planned existing buildings.

Project Information

Mechanical works include; new mechanical services and coordination of installation of clinical equipment. The underground ducts involve the replacement of the hospital mechanical infrastructure following flood damage. Further works include; replacement of the LTHW heating system and replacement of the domestic hot and cold water infrastructure.
