Building Information Modeling (BIM) is an intelligent 3D model-based process that gives our engineers the insight and tools to more efficiently plan, design, construct, and manage the buildings and the infrastructure of the projects we are working on. KD is fully committed to the use of BIM. We have been developing BIM strategies and implementing them on various construction projects over the last 5 years. We work with clients, design teams and subcontractors in a collaborative environment to deliver on every project.

Our use for BIM
At KD Group we are always trying to employ innovative technologies and materials in to the company. One method we have expanded on is BIM REVIT MEP. We now have a dedicated BIM Revit MEP department working in the company between our Mayo and Dublin Office.
We at KD Group implement BIM and Revit MEP as a standard across all our projects, where we lead the Co-ordination of same on all projects ensuring our clients have a full an operational BIM model for the project which helps them to visualize their end product. Our managers meet each week with other parties on the project in order to watch a three dimensional visual of all the site works planned for the following week, where they discuss co-ordination, collaboration and safety management.
